The latest news from Water Jet Sweden
In 2017 the demand for the FixeX machine systems increased significantly with production hall 3 in the Water Jet Sweden factory filled with frames and equipment for new FiveX machines built for customers in China, USA and Europe.
FiveX machines are commonly used in high tech industry sectors like aerospace, aircraft, liquid/gas and power industry all over the world.
Water Jet Sweden FiveX machines are advanced and bespoke abrasive cutting tools designed for specific 3D cutting requirements.
– "As the water jet market evolves the demand for this type of cutting solutions has increased, which also is one of the fields of our expertise," says Lennart Svensson, CEO at Water Jet Sweden.
The FixeX machine system is built with Water Jet Sweden’s most advanced technology enabling a 0-91 degree cutting angle. Exceptionally stable design enable an extra-long Z-movement up to 1500 mm, keeping extraordinary repetition and positioning accuracy, while conducting high precision free form abrasive waterjet cutting in full 3D.
An Intelligent Probe Interface, integrated with a large library of measurement cycles, simplifies job preparation and programming. Full size wall design and automated stainless-steel back and frontal protection keep operators safe while conducting free form 3D cutting in space.
Sending satellites into orbit is today a large and global industry. In Sweden you find the world leading supplier of Payload Adapters and Separation Systems for commercial launch vehicles. They manufacture systems compatible with all commercial satellite buses in the world today. Market leadership means constant investigation of ways to develop the rocket science even further. This time it led to new ways of processing their thick carbon fiber materials.
WJS UK engineers came to the rescue in manufacturing 4 new exhaust flanges for a classic Honda road racing bike. The Honda VFR750R, frame designation 'RC30', was a fully faired solo seat only racing motorcycle created for homologation purposes for the World Superbike Championship by Honda Racing Corporation (HRC); only 3000 were ever made, making parts difficult and sometimes impossible to obtain.
